Founder
Ms. Teresa Alonso Landeros is currently a lecturer at California State University, Fullerton and adjunct professor at Mount San Antonio Community College. She teaches Child, Adolescent and Adult Development; Inquiry and Methodology in Development; Supervising Adults and ECE curriculum courses.
She holds a Master's degree in Human Development with a minor in Leadership in Education and Human Services; a Bachelor's degree in Child Development; and an Associate's degree in Liberal Arts. Teresa also holds a CA Designated Subjects teaching credential authorizing her to teach Human Development; Parent Education; Elementary and Secondary Skills and English as a Second Language. Finally, she also is eligible for the CA Director Child Development permit.
She is the founder of A+ Parenting, offering parent education services, including parent education home visits; staff development; behavior guidance support; keynote addresses; motivational speaking and customized trainings/workshops to local school districts, programs and parents.
Teresa has worked as an early childhood education teacher for both the private and public sectors. She has also worked with at-risk adolescents, providing remedial classes in English and Math. She has worked as a parent educator and teacher trainer for both LA and Orange County districts.
She has also assisted in the coordination of a comprehensive federally funded family literacy program.
Teresa is fluent in English and Spanish.
